7 Exercises You Can do at Your Desk ...

Want to know the exercises you can do at your desk? If you are a typical employee that works eight hours a day sitting at a desk, commutes both ways and drives home to relax, sitting again, you are not alone. In fact you are just one of millions that follow this exact routine on a daily basis. But feel doomed for physical ruin no more, if you follow my tips! Here are a few exercises you can do at your desk to get you started to physical and health perfection because you have to start somewhere, right?

1 Squats

One of the best exercises you can do at your desk is chair squats, so sit down and stand up for 3 sets of 18. You can do this in the middle of your conference call or while on break so you can make the most of the day and get your workout in. This workout combined with cardio somewhere in your day make a perfect combination to achieve great results.

2 Squat Hold

To challenge your body even further pull the chair out you are sitting on and write an email while in a squat hold. This can be a challenging way to get your workout in but it will help you get in shape while you spend the day at the office. Set a goal of 3 sets of a one minute squat hold.

3 Tricep Dips

Tired of feeling self-conscious of the skin that sits untoned at the back of your arm? Well there's time to tone this muscle called the triceps while at work. In the middle of the day or even while you are on a call, perform tricep dips and the person on the other line will never even know. Perform 3 sets of 10 so that you can find time for your fitness!

4 Pushups

It's great to do pushups at your desk while on your break so that you can get your workout in while you are at the office. Avoid obesity and get in your best shape while squeezing workouts into your day. This is also a great way to break up the monotony of your day!

5 Leg Lifts

While sitting in your chair, lift up your legs at once for 1 set of 18 and individually for 3 sets of 10. To increase the intensity add ankle weights and feel the burn!

6 Arm Circles

While sitting through your one hour conference call with a group of directors, add in some arm circles. No one can see you so why not make yourself more alert while working your upper body. Perform for 5 minutes and feel the burn! Now you can get sexy sculpted arms while at work!

7 Desk Side Plank

Perform a regular plank on the floor or by leaning up against a desk or the wall. Hold for 45 seconds to 1 minute and repeat for 3 times throughout the day to tone and tighten your abdominal region as well as your back!

Now that you have a few great exercises you can do right at your office, it is time for you to get up and get moving or squeeze in your workout while on lunch break.
