Just Jumping

Jumping on a trampoline is so much fun so it’s easy to blast calories and tone up without feeling like you’re working that hard. The best way to get started is just to jump. A simple up and down jump minus anything fancy is enjoyable and gets you used to the feeling of jumping while also helping you foster the balance needed to do it effectively. Easy enough, right?

2

Jogging

One of the best things about using a trampoline is that it is easier on your joints than other forms of exercise. If you can’t do traditional jogging, you might be surprised to find that you can on a tramp. All you have to do is stand in the center of the trampoline and jog in place. You’ll feel your heart rate elevating, which means you’re burning calories. And, you can watch your favorite television shows while you do it. What could be better?

3

Bodyweight Moves

Because the trampoline requires you to balance more than on solid ground, it activates your muscles. That means that doing bodyweight exercises on your tramp can rev up the benefits and speed your progress. Try doing squats, pushups, sit ups and calf raises on your trampoline. You’ll feel the burn in no time!

4

Stepping

Running steps or using a stair climber is a clear form of exercise with obvious benefits. You can use your tramp as a step so you can get in a workout right at home. This obviously isn’t possible unless you have a small exercise tramp and won’t work on a full size backyard trampoline. See – sometimes it isn’t better to go big!

5

Jumping Jacks

Incorporate some jumping jacks into your tramp routine and you’ll experience calorie burning and muscle toning at one time. You are going to love how much easier this exercise is when you do it on a trampoline. You can get more air, which gives you a better chance to get the arm and leg motions right for the ultimate benefits. This is great on its own, but combining it with other moves increases the benefits.

Walking

Are you looking for a workout that is easy to do and effective at the same time? Walking on a trampoline is a great option for you. It requires more balance than walking on the ground, which activates your core muscles and boosts your calorie burn. At the same time, it feels less strenuous than other kinds of exercise. Plus, it’s fun!

7

Interval Training

Interval training involves going at a moderate pace for a set number of minutes, then going all out for a shorter duration. For example, you might walk on your trampoline for 3 minutes, then jog for 1 minute, alternating back and forth for the duration of your session. Experts say that this boosts calorie burn and revs your metabolism.

Have you ever worked out on a trampoline? I bet you want to give it a try now! It’s one of my favorite ways to exercise!
