1. Hatha
This is the perfect type to try if you are completely new to yoga and just want to get a feel of the basic flow. Hatha is basically an umbrella term for all kinds of physical yoga, so you will get a nice mixed bag that gives you a straightforward idea of what yoga has to offer.
2. Vinyasa
Vinyasa is the kind to try if you are looking to make yoga your primary form of working out. It is fast paced and goes through lots of different poses very quickly, giving you a nice cardio workout as well as a full body experience.

If you want to experience the more spiritual side of yoga, then Kundalini might be for you. It is a style that seeks to release energy through things like chanting, breathing and movement. It it almost a perfect blend between exercise and meditation.

This is the kind of yoga for when you are taking a day off from working out but just want to iron out some kinks. Restorative yoga focuses on breathing and gentle stretching, which makes it the perfect choice if you are feeling sore from overdoing it or just want to decompress after a hectic day.
