1

Ectomorph

This is the body type that is the most resistant to weight gain. Ectomorphs have a fast metabolic rate and are able to overeat while gaining little weight! They have very little observable body fat, are slightly muscled and have small frames.

UPD:

Ectomorphs often struggle to build muscle mass despite their efforts in weight training. Their elongated limbs and lean muscles give them a naturally slim appearance, which can be advantageous in sports that favor a high strength-to-weight ratio. However, if an ectomorph desires more muscle definition, they may have to engage in a targeted workout regimen paired with a caloric surplus. It's crucial for them to focus on strength training and adequate protein intake to support muscle growth, all while balancing their fast metabolism.

2

Mesomorph

Mesomorphs can gain and lose weight easily and can build muscle quickly. This body type usually has a long torso and short limbs. Women who are mesomorphs are often strong and athletic. They also have higher percentages of fast-twitch (skeletal muscle) fibers which allow them to gain muscle mass quickly.

UPD:

Typically, mesomorphs excel in sports that require power and speed due to their muscular build and fast-twitch muscle fibers. However, they must be mindful of their diet and exercise routine, as their bodies can also amass fat more readily than ectomorphs. To maintain balance, it is recommended that mesomorphs focus on a combination of weight training and cardio, though they may see results with moderate amounts over time. For fat loss or muscle definition, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can be particularly effective. It is essential for mesomorphs to stay active and keep a well-structured fitness regimen to continue looking and feeling their best.

3

Endomorph

Endomorphs are softer and rounder than the other body types. They are naturally curvy and tend to have fuller figures. People with this body type often struggle to keep their body fat percentage in check. The good news is, they are not destined to be overweight if they workout and eat the right foods that can fire up their metabolism.
