The cobra is the most well known stretch that is used by fitness enthusiasts because it works wonders in relaxing your body. The cobra is a great stretch for your abdominal and lower back. Just make sure to stretch out fully and breathe deep to relax your muscles. Hold for 20 seconds and then release. Release the tension in your lower back to make the most out of this because this is one of the best stretching exercises!

Full Body Stretch

The full body stretch is pretty simple as you are basically sprawling out and elongating your body. The key is to take a deep breath and relax as you perform this exercise. Hold this extension and release.

Balance your hips and stretch out your body by reaching over for a few side bends. The key with this stretch, as with most stretching, is to take deep breaths and just relax. In just a few minutes, you will feel good as new.

March in Place

Stretch out your shoulders with this dynamic stretch (stretching in motion). Just make sure you stand with your feet shoulder width apart and move those arms. In just a few sets you will feel loose and ready for your upper body workout or just to embark upon your day!

Jumping Jacks

Another dynamic stretch that is so simple yet so effective in loosening the body and prepping for the day is the jumping jack. As a trainer it is a rare day when I do not utilize this exercise or dynamic stretch in my workouts and you should too because it works wonders!
