Yeah, it's already July, but it's not too late to get your summer beach bod! In just two weeks, you can rock your two-piece with confidence. Here's how.
1 Swap the Soda
I know that Coke tastes so good, but if you swap it for water with lemon or unsweetened iced tea, you'll be cutting so many calories! Let's do the math: if you drink two bottles a day, that's four servings, and a whopping 480 calories... that's more calories than a cheeseburger!
Even if you can't run fast, you can still burn loads of calories and tone and firm your legs and butt. Queue up your Move It playlist, lace up your trainers, and go! Add in a few sets of squats or lunges between miles (and at the start and finish lines) and you'll be gorgeous!
Now it's time to tone your arms and core, and one of the best ways to do them both is to plank. Set your timer for 30 seconds, and every day, add 15 more. Work your way up to two minutes, and see if you can even push for longer.
4 Get Fresh
Are you craving something sweet? Don't reach for the ice cream! Instead, make yourself a bowl of sweet, fresh berries, or cut up some watermelon... or just grab a whole tomato off the vine! These fresh fruits are all in season, and they're so good for you and your beach bod!
5 Just Add Water
If you're feeling hungry, drink a glass of water before you find a munch, because (especially in this summer heat) you could actually just be thirsty. Keep a refillable water bottle with you at all times, and sip frequently.
6 Embrace the Change
You know the best way to have the beach body you want next summer? Keep it from this summer! Hold onto all of these good habits, instead of letting them go in sweater weather, and you'll be beach-ready all year long.
7 Find the One That Fits
Now that you've toned and trimmed a little, it's time to find a new suitie, one that fits and flatters! Ignore the sizing labels and just try on the suits you like until you find one you love. Score!
