The part of the brain that responds well to aerobic exercise is the hippocampus, which controls memory. And across the board, among all age groups there are major benefits of increased memory from regular aerobic exercise. This explains how I aced many tests from studying while listening to recorded lectures on my runs. Studies have shown that memory is greater developed because of regular sweat sessions. Just do not push too hard because high intensity exercise can have a counter effect and actually add stress. Walk it out, jog it out or whatever else you desire!
