Do you have any favorite cardio classes? I know I do, but I am always up for trying something new and different. Cardio is great way to get your heart pumping and burn some major calories. We all need some good workouts in our life. That is why I put together this list of 7 amazing cardio classes to improve your health. These classes are guaranteed to be exciting and get you moving fast.

1. TRX Suspension Training

Have you heard of these cardio classes yet? If not listen up. This is an intense workout that derived from the Navy SEALs. It involves using suspension training with body weight exercises to increase strength, balance, flexibility and stability. Hey, if it’s good enough for the Navy it’s gotta be good for us too, right?

2. Gliding Disc Workout

If you have ever wanted to move with grace and skill this is the class for you. Instead of hopping and bopping around on the floor you will plant your feet on gliding disc that will help you move gracefully while you workout. It is said to be a great lower body workout that anyone can do.

3. Cardio Tai Box

You’ve heard of Tai Bo and you’ve heard of kick boxing. Now meet Tai Box. It’s a mix of kicks and punches to get your heart going for a full cardio workout. The routines and sequences aren’t difficult to catch on to. Just remember to always engage your stomach muscles for a better workout and more stability. This sounds like a good one that I plan to try out soon.

4. Battle Rope

I like workouts that involve little or no equipment. That is why battle roping sounds so interesting. All you really need is a large rope and maybe some gloves to protect your hands. You will get a full cardio fat burning workout by intensely waving the ropes up and down and back and forth. This is a common one that you have probably seen on TV or heard about in Cross Fit workouts.

These powerful and high impact cardio dance classes have been popping up all over the place. If you like strong beats, great rhythm and good dance you need to check this one out.

I tried trx classes at my neighborhood YMCA and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the handsome instructor but my arms were always sore the next day haha!
