Curls

Curls Curls are great exercises for toned arms that you always wanted! Curls target your biceps in an attempt to make them look awesome! They are pretty versatile too. You can do barbell curls, dumbbell curls or preacher curls! To do the workout, start by keeping your back straight, feet planted and your elbows to your sides. Lift the weight ( the dumbbells, etc.) to your shoulders and lower back down with control. Be sure not to drop the weight down quickly or you could hurt yourself!

2

Tricep Extensions

Tricep Extensions Tricep extensions are another good way to sculpt strong, toned arms! Tricep extensions are best done at the gym! To do tricep extensions, start by keeping your feet firmly planted, shoulders down and your core tight. Grab the weight from the cable machine, pull the handle down towards your hips, while keeping elbows stationary and shoulders down. Be sure to go easy on the way up, going too fast could strain!

3

Pull Ups

Pull Ups I am a big fan of pull ups. They’re my favorite workout to do! They’re pretty easy to execute as well. Pull up on the pull up bar with your palms facing towards your face, and pull your body weight up. Be sure not to rock back and forth. You want to achieve a smooth up and down form. Keep those shoulders down too!

4

Push Ups

Push Ups Push ups work out the whole body and are an overall great exercise for building strength! They also target your triceps! To execute a push up, keep your palms on the floor at chest height and make sure that your arms are wide enough so that you lower and raise your arms at a 90 degree angle. You can go slightly lower depending on your level of expertise!

5

Chair Dips

Chair Dips Chair dips are super easy to do, because all you really need is a chair. It can be done virtually anywhere, though I’d avoid doing it in really public places. To pull of a chair dip, sit at the edge of chair with your feet together. Place your hand on either side of the chair, and bend your arms at a 90 degree angle while lowering yourself down. Straighten your arms to come back to starting position! Again, be sure not to move too quickly!

The Cobra

The Cobra If you’re a fan of yoga, then this pose is definitely for you! The Cobra targets the shoulder blade area, helping to relax tense muscles. Lie on the floor with your palms facing downward on the floor near your chest. Then, lift your head, shoulder and chest off of the floor. This will pull your shoulder blades together. Stay there for a couple counts, then lower back down. It’s a calm way to strengthen your arms that totally works!

Forearm Plank

Forearm Plank Remember how to do a push up? Okay, so start with that position. Then, you’re going to shift all of your weight to your forearms and toes. Make sure to keep your elbows and shoulders aligned and tight. Straighten your body from your head to the heels of your feet and hold the position for at least 20 seconds. This will definitely help sculpt your arms into perfection!

These exercises for toned arms have helped me in tremendous ways during my workouts! Like I said before, I add these in all the time, and you should too if you want awesome results! But, keep in mind that it’s also good to switch it up once in a while. What are your favorite workouts for toned arms?

I actually needed this one

The model in the plank position should have her core tighter & her back straighter (more flat) She looks like she's sagging ;). Just sayin..

Agree with Sara, the mod in the plant should have her head looking at a lower angle, her core tighter, and her whole top should be a straight line. Just in case anyone else gets their example from the picture!

These are excellent! Thanks so much
